Paper Sack Mini Album

Just wanted to share this mini album, made from paper sacks.  I made it for our church's Vacation Bible School director as a thank you for her hard work last week.  We averaged around 100 kids each day!

The front cover: I cut the airplane and swirly thing from Cricut's "Heritage" cartridge and the ticket from Cricut's Creative Memories "Traveler" cartridge.

Here are the inside pages.  Can you believe I made this entire album with scraps?  Oh, wait!  I did need two 12" x 12" pages of cardstock for the backgrounds.

More cuts from "Heritage" and "Traveler" cartridges, and some stickers from Paper Studio.  And next, the back cover.

This sort of album is really inexpensive, yet I've seen them at local crafts shows for around $15-$20!  I just took 3 medium-sized paper sacks (bought a pack at Sam's Club), folded them in the middle, punched a couple holes with my Crop-a-Dile Big Bite, and tied ribbon through the holes.  I then cut twelve 6" x 6" pages and decorated them, then glued them in.  I also kept the sack tops open, so the receiver can put memorabilia inside to keep.  You could also make some extra 6" x 6" pages and put in there.

Simple and inexpensive, but cute!  That's what makes this one of my favorite crafty gifts to make and give!
