Hi, everyone! Things have settled down here a little bit, so I got to take some "scrapportunities" for working on some challenges! The Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge is due tomorrow, and I had a blast working on this one! It was to make a project using a soup can. With Teacher's Appreciation Week here and Mother's Day coming up, this has been a great inspiration to me! My can is for a friend for Mother's Day.
I already had the peppermint candy here; I had planned on making up my own sentiment, something to play on the word "mint," but it's so easy to just stamp a sentiment, isn't it? I love Joy's Life stamps--most are really "punny," and they stamp really well. This one is from the "Yummy Puns" set. You can find all of the Joy's Life stamps
here.
I cut the paper peppermint from the Cricut "Sweet Shop" lite cartridge. And then I stamped the Peachy Keen happy face from the "Wide Eyed Kids Face Assortment" PK-450. You can find them
here.
It was fun to upcycle a can for my treat holder! I'm going to enter this in the Peachy Keen Challenge #16; you can find it
here.
