Chocolates Card

Since I was running around crazy before Christmas and didn't get many cards made, I thought I'd start early for some Valentine's Day cards.  For my first one, I thought I'd use the sketch over at Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge Blog.  You can find it and the current challenge here.

I used my brand new Peachy Keen Stamps, PKSC-13 January 2013, the January stamps of the month for the chocolates and the sentiment.  I stamped them in Stampin' Up!'s Primrose Petals ink first, then I stamped them with Memento Black onto brown paper and embossed the swirls with Ranger's Seafoam White embossing powder.  The I cut out the centers and popped them up for dimension.

I used a new Echo Park paper--Love Story by Lori Whitlock for my background and some Bazzill scraps for the rest.  A classic sentiment for a Valentine card . . .

I had to add a few blingy gems from Studio G to accent, then I used a little tulle to tie around it and popped up the whole card front with foam tape.

I'll need to make a few more and a run to the store for --you guessed it-- chocolate!  And I'll be ready to wish my friends a Happy Valentine's Day!

I'm entering this card in the following challenge:
