"Starry" School Layout

Here's a layout I made for my oldest daughter's school album.  I made this layout for some challenges, and I think it turned out just right for the Peachy Keen Stamps color Challenge #19.  I chose these pictures because my daughter was wearing a purple shirt, which matched the color scheme.  And, since it had stars, it made me think to do a star theme.  And, remember those foil stars we used to put on our charts or get back on our papers in elementary school?

(The pictures are with her two fifth grade teachers--I covered their faces, because I wasn't sure they would want me to post their photos online.)

Here's two close-ups of the happy little stars:

My supply list:  cardstock-Bazzill; Cricut cartridges: Base Camp-title (my teacher), Opposites Attract-title (& me) and stick pins, George and Basic Shapes-stars and tags, and Ribbons and Rosettes-"notebook" borders; Glimmer Mist-Tattered Angels "Marshmallow," ribbon-Offray, twine-We R Memory Keepers, flowers-Prima, brads-various from my stash, stamps: faces-Peachy Keen Stamps "Wide-eyed Kids Assortment and sentiments-Pink by Design "Our Kids" set, ink-Colorbox, Studio G, Stampin' Up!, pens-Sakura Gelly Roll: white and clear glitter, Creative Memories: green glitter.

I'm entering this layout in the following challenges:

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge #19:  Color Inspiration
Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge #141:  Do something you are "afraid" of on your project.  (I'm intimidated by using all solid cardstock--or maybe I am addicted to patterned paper, IDK! LOL!  I also used that Glimmer Mist on the background, which is new to me.)
Frosted Designs Sketch Along Tuesday:  Sketch #42

I encourage everyone to check out these challenges and put something together to play along.  It was fun for me, and I got one more layout completed that would otherwise just be waiting on me to get some other scrapportunity.  Which might take a while, lol!
