Fishy Gift Bag

I just love participating in challenges lately, even though I can only focus on a few at a time, lol!  This week's challenge at Peachy Keen Stamps Challege is to make a gift bag.  I have gift bags and have made a few, but this time I went all out.  And the challenge over at Stampin' Sisters in Christ is to add some sparkle to your project.  I have a little stickles on the river and some "splashes" close to the fish on the tag.

A friend's little boy is having a fishing-themed birthday party soon, and I just got the Cricut "Campin' Critters" cartridge, so I put two and two together, lol!  But I think the eyes on those little critters are kinda funny looking, sooooo . . . what better way to "cutesy" up my little deer than to add a Peachy face??  I used the Peachy Keen Critter Faces Set A on this one.  He is so happy to have caught a fish in the glittery, cool river!

Other supplies I used are:  Bazzill cardstock, green burlap and wood grain patterned paper-Hobby Lobby (the Paper Studio,) Sakura's white gel pen, and Rangers Stickles.  The twine is from Wal-Mart, and I stapled it on with my Tim Holtz mini stapler.  I chose the sentiment from Pink by Design's "Simply Everything" set.

I think the little guy will love this gift bag, (and especially the gift inside!) and his mother will love it as she can cut it apart and put it in his scrapbook!

I'm entering this in the following challenges:
