A "Colorful" Layout

I had a "scrapportunity" today (since I was "ignoring" the laundry, the dishes, the . . . fill in the blank, lol!), and I wanted to enter Frosted Design's Fabulous Friday Challenge this week, which is to use stamping.  The prize is a stamp set from Pink by Design Stamps!  I have a few of their sets, and I have to say, "I love 'em!"  They stamp well, and the sentiments are very clever!  I even used some for sentiments on this layout!

My youngest was only 16 months in these pictures and had gotten her first crayons for Christmas.  She knew right what to do and was engrossed in her artwork!  These were taken on Christmas Day (hence the other toys right around her, lol), but I thought they were too bright and happy, so I had to use patterned paper from My Little Shoebox, Bella Blvd., and Recollections.

My crayons were cut from Cricut's "Locker Talk" cartridge, and stamped with Peachy Keen's "Wide-eyed Kids" set with Stampin' Up! ink.

I added a little faux stitching and some details to the faces with my Sakura Gelly Roll white pen.

I also used some flowers from Recollections and attached them with brads from my stash.

My sentiments are from Pink by Design's "Simply Everything" set.  I used three that mentioned "colors."

Hope you like this layout!  I'm glad I had the "scrapportunity" to get another page done, and I'm glad I had an excuse to get out my stamps to use in my scrapbooking!  Here's the link to the Frosted Designs Challenge one more time:  Frosted Designs Fabulous Friday Challenge: Stamping.
