Daisy Card for a Friend

Hi!  Whew, it's been a while since I've been here!  I've been busy working on some swaps that were due last week and some that are due this week!!  I signed up for too many being the procrastinator that I am! LOL!  I'll show some of them later.  But I made a card for my friend from some of the scraps, and I'll share it with you now.

I used some vellum for the flower petals, cut with the George Cricut cartridge.  The face is from Peachy Keen Stamps' Everyday Character Faces.  I thought it added a fun touch to the flower.

Here's a close-up of the sentiment from my Heidi Grace Designs Quotes set.  I don't think I inked it well, (need to get out my refills, lol) but it added to the distressed look of the card, with some torn and inked edges and jute twine.  I like this card; it reminds me of working in the garden in Spring-time, getting a little dirty while planting fun flowers to keep us company through the season and into summer.

I'm entering this card in three challenges.  The first is Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge 13, found here.  It is "Anything Goes"--all you have to do is create a project using Peachy Keen Stamps.

The second challenge is Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge #135, found here.  Their challenge was to use something transparent.

The other challenge is Love to Create Challenge #11-Friends.  You can find it here.  I haven't been entering challenges for very long, so it was a little hard for me to combine three on one project, but I think this little card worked out just right!  Now to decide--which friend to send it to . . .
