It's definitely summer here in Southern Oklahoma. The kids are out of school, the temperature is on the rise, and we swing by the snow-cone stand every chance we get! Also, our standard choice of shoes (when we put any on) is flip-flops! So that's all the inspiration I needed for this card:
I recently made some embellished die cuts for a swap, and I was thinking the whole time, "I would love to 'Peachify' these!" So I took the opportunity to use my Peachy Keen Stamps Critter Faces for their latest challenge. You can find it here: Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge #20--Just Cards.
I want everyone to be able to see those little flip-flop faces. They are happy to be outta the closet and out in the summer sunshine! Here's their close-up.
Here's a list of my supplies: cardstock-Bazzill, patterned paper-Imaginesce, Cricut Traveler Cartridge (Creative Memories), face stamps-Peachy Keen Stamps Critter Faces Set A Medium, sentiment stamp-Pink by Design "Simply Everything" set, dot background-Stampin' Up! "Dot, Dot, Dot" stamp, white chalk ink-Clear Snap, brown and orange ink-Stampin' Up!, word window punch-Stampin' Up!, border punch-EK Success, flowers-Recollections, brads-Paper Studio, baker's twine-We R Memory Keepers.
Thanks for stopping by, now we are off to run some errands, and then . . . a trip to the snow-cone stand, of course!
Very Clever! Enjoy your summer in flip flops :)
